The basic points of interests will be paid on the such such topics as:
1. Norms - deviation - disorganization - disintegration - Pathology - characteristics of the basic concepts
2. biopsychological determinants of deviant behaviuor
3. socio-cultural determinants of deviant behaviour
4. Integrated models of deviant bahaviour
5. Diagnosis of symptoms and the scale of social pathologies
that involve:
a) individual level, b) social groups level , c) the wider community level:
• Deviation solitary - suicide
• Trafficking in human beings,
• Terrorism,
• Addiction: alcoholism and drugs,
• Sexual deviations: prostitution, pedophilia, child pornography, incest,
• Social exclusion: mobbing, bullying, homelessness, street children.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, student:
1. Knows the theoretical framework and terminology of social pathology as a scientific discipline
2. Has knowledge about conditions, symptoms, scale phenomena and ways of counteracting social pathologies
Assessment criteria
Evaluation of the student's work will be the result of:
a) Continuous assessment (activity during the course and the outcome of all tests / activity at the edmodo educational programme)
b) own work - the characteristics of the selected deviant / pathological issue (indicated in the detailed description) in the form of presentation.
