Learning outcomes
Student:
1. Learns the basic knowledge in the optics and wave field,
2. Gets power to broaden his knowledge in the optics and wave field on the base on the possessed language and range of notion.
3. Understands and is able to explain selected effects in the optics and wave field, using learnt tools for its description.
4. Can analyse simple problems in the optics and wave field and can find solution on the base of the possessed knowledge, as well as is able to make proper quantitaive analysis and to formulate qualitative conclusions.
5. Is able to use both the stocks of literatures and and stock of internet with apprehension and critically, in respect to problem in the optics and wave field.
6. Can execute simple experiments in the optics and wave field and can analyse obtained results.
7. Deepens the ability of cooperation in laboratory team, participating as either executive or manager of an experiment.
8. Deepens the ability of managing of work of laboratory team and accepting of the liability of the results of its operation.
9. Can explain the principle of operation of selected experimental set-ups in the optics and wave field.
10. Is ready to deepen the knowledge and abilities in the quantum mechanics field.
Assessment criteria
Lecture:
Students take part in lectures including experiental demonstrations. Students are stimuklated to ask questions and to disccuss. At the end, there is an examination, which consists of both written and oral parts.
