45 hours in total: 1st year 15 hours + 2nd year 30 hours
Students and the lecturer choose subject for discussion in given classes (preferably one related to their doctoral research). Student or lecturer prepare short presentation where introduce the audience to the given field and define problem. Next audience ask questions to the presenter and the discussion of problem start. After the discussion, the students formulate certain conclusions.

Learning outcomes
SD_UK01 communicate efficiently using appropriate terminology, as well as prepare and present the results of their own research, including in a foreign language
SD_UK04 speak a foreign language at the B2 level to the extent that allows conducting research based on world literature and establishing contacts with the international scientific and professional community
SD_KK01 critically analyze sources of scientific information and research results in given scientific discipline
Assessment criteria
The final grade for the seminar will be the arithmetic average of the grades for attendance, presentation quality, and class participation - ability to discuss topics that will arise in class.
