PGL practical grammar 340-AG1-2PGN

The classes within the "practical grammar" component for the second year of first-cycle studies form a course at an intermediate level, the aim of which is to achieve a higher level of language proficiency, develop correct grammatical, spelling and punctuation habits, shape correct pronunciation and intonation, master accentuation, learn to read correctly (phonetically, intonation-wise and accentuation-wise)
During the course, students expand and consolidate their knowledge and skills in the field of grammar issues such as:, Indirekte Fragen, Infinitiv myth "zu" und ohne "zu", Relativsätze, Temporale Nebensätze, Finalsätze, Doppelkonnektoren

Prerequisites (description)

Knowledge of German at a level corresponding to A2 standards. The student: - acquired the skills allowing him to independently prepare longer oral and written statements at A2 level; - developed the ability to present an orderly argumentation and counter-argumentation; selects appropriate examples; - developed an awareness of different language styles and registers; - deepened his knowledge of the German language and culture in a contrastive approach; - acquired knowledge and skills in the field of basic grammar issues at A2 level.

Assessment criteria

The final grade is influenced by active participation in classes and test results.
The condition for obtaining a credit in the course (grade) is to take all tests.
