PEL integrated skills 3 340-AG1-3PJS
Students will be given work encompassing all four skills. In addition to reading, including press, academic and literary texts, students will practice writing, listening, including understanding of various types of text, inter alia fragments of radio or TV programs, films and clips, and reacting to their content, students will practice expressing their thoughts on abstract topics, on subjects discussed during classes, and topics important to the student and selected by him/her.
Subskills such as grammar issues will be addressed as and when necessary.

Learning outcomes
It is expected that students' general English will be improved by addressing specific areas of English that are known to pose difficulty. Students will be able to make and refute arguments on a variety of issues.
Assessment criteria
The final grade will be an arithmetic mean of the grade obtained in the first semester and the grade received at the end of the second semester.
A student can obtain 100 points altogether.
96- 100 = 5,
90- 95 = 4,5,
80-89 = 4,
70-79 = 3,5,
50- 69 = 3
Points exceeding the sum possible to be earned in a given category are counted as obtained in the other category.
Continuous assessment. Points are awarded for each lesson. Points are added to the final grade. Written assignments with assessment.

The points are awarded for: a student's engagement with the class, ability to express opinions and react civilly to what others say, to speak on a given topic, to clarify what you say and to elaborate on it, to ask questions, to change the topic when desired, to use appropriate register, to work out lexical items and to mediate conversation.
