Continuous evaluation based on:
- attendance and class preparation, - independent work (preparation of the required number of translations together with self-correction), - satisfactory completion of all other assigned tasks (e.g. analyses, glossaries), - positive evaluation of all assignments, - final semester credit.
Translation assessment criteria:
93-100% - 5

85-92% - 4,5

77-84% - 4

69-76% - 3,5

60-68% - 3

below - 2
The final grade will be based on attendance, active class participation, partial grades and project work.
Attendance in class is mandatory. Only one unexcused absence per semester is allowed. Excused absences (e.g. doctor's note) should be shown no later than one week after the absence has ended. In case of a longer or prolonging absence (more than two missed classes) the student is obliged to contact the teacher during this time.
