Learning outcomes

Winter semester:

Knowledge, the graduate knows and understands:
- at an advanced level, phenomena, processes, and linguistic systems within the leading language, as well as theories explaining the relationships between them (KP6_WG1)
- problems and challenges related to language and communication and their links to the fundamental dilemmas of modern civilization (KP6_WK1)

Skills, graduates are able to:
- select and apply appropriate methods and tools, including advanced information and communication technologies (ICT) (KP6_UW5)
- participate in debates in a foreign language, present and evaluate different opinions and positions, and discuss them (KP6_UK3)

The pass mark is obtaining at least 51% of written tests, an oral presentation on a given topic and active participation in classes.
The student has the right to 2 unexcused absences per semester. The absence can be justified only by presenting / sending a scan of a certificate from the doctor within 14 days of the student's return to classes.
