Languages for Specyfic Purposes 340-AH1-3INE

The thirty-hour course includes expanding and consolidating vocabulary on topics related to state administration, organization of enterprises, economy and business.

During classes, students are required to:
- prepare a weekly review of the English-language press on administrative and economic issues,
- prepare individual presentations on the administrative system of a selected country,
- actively participate in discussions on the topics discussed,
- pass a final test on vocabulary discussed during classes.
Topics:
- Organization of enterprises: sole proprietorships, private companies, private partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies, joint-stock companies
- Constitutional organization of state administration
- Raising capital
- Culture in business, including cultural differences
