Official and Commercial Communication in English 340-AH1-3LEN
The aim of the course is to expand the vocabulary related to communication of a political and commercial nature at the macro (politics and international economy) and micro (communication between enterprises) levels. Students follow media reports on current events in politics and the world economy, and then are able to creatively discuss and reach agreement on the subject.
Ss keep a reading diary, where they summarize news from English-language press on subjects connected with diplomacy, politics and economy. They also prepare presentations of constitutional systems and economies of selected countries, as well as selected companies operating on the world market.
Ss also take part in arranged negociations and debates. Additionally they practise writing official and business emails and letters.
