Knowledge
Student knows the vocabulary and the grammatical structures taught in the course.
Skills
Student is able to communicate using the foreign language. Student is able to fluently express his opinions, using appropriate structures.
Competence
Student is able to work in a group, assume various roles in the group, negotiate, identify and solve problems.
Assessment criteria
There are 3 – 4 tests during the academic year. Each test is graded with points and the points are summed up at the end of the course.
Grades:
5 (91-100%)
4,5 (81-90%)
4 (71-80%)
3,5 (61-70%)
3 (51-60%)
There are no retakes of separate tests. Students may be absent on the day of the test only because of medical reasons.
Students who receive less than 60% of points will take a final test based on the whole material. To pass the final test, students have to receive a minimum of 55 % of points; however, the only available grade is 3.
Perfect attendance and good performance during the lessons may grant additional points.
Students are allowed to be absent from the lessons only twice during a term.
