Assessment criteria
Students are assessed based on the following criteria:
- active participation in classes
- tests: reading, listening, vocabulary, knowledge of the subject matter of each class.
In order to receive credit for a course (mark), a student must obtain at least 51% of all tests taken together. Absence from a test without a medical certificate equals 0%. Excuses for absences should be submitted no later than one week after returning to class. Excuses for absences after this date will not be accepted.
Grades:
5= 91-100%
4+= 81-90%
4= 71- 80%
3+= 61-70%
3 = 51-69%
Attendance in class is compulsory. Two unexcused absences per semester are permitted.
