Practical Russian Learning 2a 340-AR1-2JHCP
Program content:
Students must master the Russian language to a degree enabling communication in various situations of everyday and professional life at various levels, and familiarize students with elements of local history of the Russian language area. The aim of the classes is also to train listening, speaking, reading and writing skills as well as to acquire and expand students' linguistic competences in the following areas:
- reading texts with the correct accent and pronunciation,
- general understanding of written and spoken texts of varying difficulty levels,
- expressing the content learned during classes in text or auditory form, in grammatically correct oral and written statements (simple and complex),
- expressing one's own opinion using the lexical resources and information obtained during classes,
- communicating in typical social situations,
- understanding relationships in the process of people communicating and the ability to react in everyday situations,
- developing communication competences.
The subject is taught in the second year of first-cycle studies in the winter and summer semesters in the form of classes (30 h + 60 h).
Teaching methods: practical exercises, student's own work.
ECTS points: 6 points.

Participation in classes: 90 h (3 ECTS)
Preparation for classes: 40 h (1.5 ECTS)
Preparation for and participation in the exam: 19 h+1 h=20 h (0.75 ECTS)
Preparation of homework: 15 h (0.5 ECTS)
Participation in consultations related to classes: 7.5x1 h = 7.5 h (0.25 ECTS)

Learning outcomes
student:
- has the ability to use the Russian language grammatically and lexically at the level of correct understanding of original texts; writing texts correctly on familiar topics; formulating oral statements (KA6_WG1),
- can perceive the Russian language comprehensively, being aware of its complexity and variability of meanings. (KA6_WG1)
- can prepare typical written works in Russian (summary, description, story) using the basic rules of spelling and grammar of the Russian language and newly learned vocabulary acquired during classes and based on other sources (KA6_UW1, KA6_UW2, KA6_UK5),
- can prepare oral statements in Russian using the basic phonetic and grammatical rules of the Russian language and newly learned vocabulary acquired during classes and on the basis of other sources (KA6_UW1, KA6_UW2, KA6_UK5),
- is able to plan individual work and work and cooperate in a group during discussions and during the preparation of project work, taking on various roles in it, and is able to express his or her own opinion; interact and communicate in typical social situations; (KA6_UW6, KA6_UO1),
- is able to independently acquire knowledge and develop skills in the selected diploma specialization, understands and implements the need for continuous learning (KA6_UU1),
- has basic knowledge about cultural institutions and events of contemporary cultural life in Russia (KA6_WG11),
- demonstrates a critical assessment of knowledge (KA6_KK1),
- demonstrates the ability to create areas of tolerance and cooperation in the conditions of multicultural communication and a religiously diverse society (KA6_KO4).
Assessment criteria
The student receives credit at the end of the winter and summer semester in the form of a grade based on: attendance at classes, active participation in exercises (composing dialogues, correct reading, ability to express one's opinion on a specific topic), passing written and oral homework, grades for written assignments ( dictations, grammar tests, summaries of texts, essays). In a semester of 90 hours, it is allowed to miss 2 classes without excuse. A student will not receive credit if he misses (apart from permitted absences) 7 classes. The condition for admission to the exam in the summer session is obtaining credits in the winter and summer semesters.
