1.The student knows and understands general terminology regarding word formation and morphology of the Russian language as well as the basic methodology of research in this field.

2. The student knows and understands methods of analysis and interpretation of Russian-language texts in terms of finding and characterizing various grammatical units.

3. The student is able to formulate and solve complex problems, selecting appropriate methods and tools using knowledge of the Russian language at the grammatical level.

Assessment criteria
Students are assessed based on the following criteria:
- active participation in classes,
- final test in word formation and morphological analysis and grammatical theory.
The final grade is the grade from the final test.
One unexcused absence is allowed.
In the event of a student's absence, the material completed during classes must be included in the consultations.
Five hours of absence qualifies you to fail the course.
