Official and Commercial Communication in Russian 340-AR1-3TER
The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the types and forms of (simple) business letters and to show their application in communicative contexts of real-life situations. The student learns practical skills of business and commercial correspondence in Russian. The student is taught how to write an application, a CV, a cover letter.
Topics:
1. The general structure of a formal letter and its characteristics.
2. Simple letters ( typical expressions and phrases) - a reminder, a request, an invitation, a thank you letter, a cover letter, etc.
3. An application letter
4. A CV, a motivational letter.
