Assessment criteria
The course ends with a presentation on the subject matter of the course.
One absence during the course is permitted.
Active participation during classes will contribute to a higher final grade.
Lack of preparation for classes and failure to bring materials sent by the lecturer will result in a lower final grade.

The course is designed based on the literature provided and authentic materials, i.e. YouTube videos, TED Ed lessons and TED talks.

The participants will be assigned vocabulary tasks based on miscellaneous articles, book excerpts, quizzes and videos. In order to obtain the final credit, the students will be expected to prepare audio-visual presentations on a given subject (in the fields of medicine and healthcare). |
