Practical English: Discussion 340-AS1-2PKO

Students will expand their vocabulary and actively participate in debates, discussions and engaging language exercises to improve their English speaking skills. Course topics will include current events, contemporary social and cultural issues and phenomena.

Widely available open source authentic materials as well as original materials.

The final grade will be based on attendance, active class participation and preparation and final oral exam.
Attendance in class is mandatory. One unexcused absence per semester is allowed. Excused absences (e.g. doctor's note) should be shown no later than one week after the absence has ended. In case of longer or prolonging absence (more than two missed classes) the student is obliged to contact the teacher during this time.
