KNOWLEDGE - the graduate knows:
KA6_WG3- literary works, phenomena and processes and theories explaining their cultural background and relations between them
KP6_WG6 - methods of analysis and interpretation of texts and other cultural productions of a given language area within selected linguistic traditions and theories
KP6_WG8 - methods of analysis and interpretation of texts within selected literary traditions and theories
SKILLS - The graduate is able to
KP6_UW3 - analyse and interpret literary texts critically, using philological methods to assess their significance in the historical and cultural process
KP6_UW4- carry out a critical analysis and interpretation of various cultural products using philological methods which make it possible to assess their significance in the historical-cultural process
KP6_UW8- appropriately select sources and information from them in the field of literary studies and evaluate, critically analyse and synthesise this information
KP6_UK3 - communicate using specialised terminology in the field of literary studies including socio-cultural elements
KP6_UK4 - take part in a debate in a foreign language, present and evaluate different opinions and positions and discuss them.

Assessment criteria
Written test/exam.
Absence from a test/examination can only be excused by medical leave.
