The student knows and understands
KP7_WG1 at an advanced level, complex linguistic phenomena and processes within the English language, theories explaining the relationships between them, as well as contemporary trends in linguistics.
KP7_WG3 advanced terminology and the extensive methodological apparatus of linguistic research.
KP7_WG6 advanced methods of analysis and interpretation of texts and other cultural products of the English-speaking world within selected linguistic traditions and theories.
KP7_WG8 an in-depth conceptual framework for describing cultural phenomena relevant to the analysis of language and the communication process.
KP7_WK3 principles concerning the protection of industrial property and copyright law.
The student is able to
KP7_UW1 formulate and solve complex and non-standard problems by innovatively selecting appropriate methods and tools using knowledge in the field of linguistics or literary studies.
KP7_UW3 conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation of various cultural products using philological methods that allow for evaluating their significance in the historical and cultural process.
KP7_UW5 appropriately select sources and information from the field of linguistics and carry out evaluation, critical analysis, and synthesis of this information.
KP7_UK4 use English in speech and writing at the C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
KP7_UU1 independently plan and pursue lifelong learning and guide others in this regard.
