Learning outcomes
The student knows and understands:
KP7_WG1 – complex linguistic phenomena and processes, theories explaining the relationships between them, and contemporary trends in diachronic linguistics.
KP7_WG4 – advanced terminology and an extensive methodological framework for research in diachronic linguistics.
The student is able to:
KP7_UW1: Formulate and solve complex and atypical problems by innovatively selecting appropriate methods and tools using knowledge from the field of diachronic linguistics.
KP7_UW6 – properly select sources and information from them in the field of diachronic linguistics and conduct evaluation, critical analysis, and synthesis of this information.
KP7_UK1: Communicate with diverse audiences using specialized terminology from the field of diachronic linguistics, taking into account socio-cultural elements.

Written test
Only students with no more than two unexcused absences are eligible for course credit. A higher number of absences must be made up according to the rules agreed upon with the instructor.
