Term 2023:
The aim of the course is the presentation of the dynamism in development of the British novel in the 20th and 21st century. However, in order to do so the course opens with the history of the rise and development of the British novel in the 18-th and 19-th century. Then, decade by decade, British novels are analysed to show on the one the unchanging core of the genre, and, on the other, experiments and changes. |
