Polish Language in Translation 340-AT2-1PP

Profile: general academic, mode: full time, type of course: obligatory (M_2), area dnd field of study: humanities / linguistics / English philology with elements of translation studies, year: I (second degree), semester: II, 15 hrs, lecture connected with practical tasks. Didactic methods: presentations, analysis of language samples, discussions, conversation lectures, group and individual project work. ECTS: 1 (27hrs=15hrs of classes; office hours=2hrs; preparation for the classes=10hrs).

Prerequisites (description)

Students should have prior knowledge of the fundamentals of linguistics, in particular of the descriptive grammar of the Polish language, and and basic translation skills. The student should also possess knowledge of the English language at C1 level at least.

Graded credit - a written final test.
