The objective of the course is to provide students with advanced, in-depth knowledge of information technology and to practically develop their skills in using digital tools in the work of a philologist, researcher, and translator.

The course content covers the following advanced topics:

Global computer networks and the digital environment:
- Web browsers: Types of browsers and their configuration settings for privacy protection, personal data security, and work comfort optimization.
- Searching for and gathering data: Utilizing Polish and foreign information and search services.
- Security on the WWW and protection of computer resources; selection and configuration of an email client.

Publication and presentation online (Online Tools/Cloud):
- Creating an HTML document in a graphical editor, including the basic functions and commands.
- Creating a web page/website and presenting it on the WWW (including free hosting and servers, creating an account, allocating disk space, and publishing an HTML file via an FTP client).
- Presentation and business graphics: Basics of editing graphic files, converting graphic file formats, and creating simple graphic designs.
- Creating presentations: Inserting slides, working with fonts and paragraphs, inserting multimedia objects (sound, video), and using custom animation effects.
- Introduction to issues related to Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Legal and ethical aspects of technology:
- Issues related to copyright protection and respect for intellectual property.
