Attendance: two absences are allowed.
Timely completion of home assignments.
In order to earn credit, the student needs to score at least 51% for every test/assignment. If a student fails to take a written test (report, dictation, or some other written test) and does not produce a note from a doctor, they will not be allowed to take such a test at a different time and will receive 0 point for it. A student that has produced a note from a doctor, should take the test at a different time no later than 2 weeks of the day when the test was announced. In such cases, the student takes the test during a meeting with the teacher (in person).
Written assignments are assessed based on their form (compliance with the principles of writing a compte rendu), content (conveying the main ideas of the source text) and language correctness.
