Learning outcomes:
1. The student is able to work in a team and respond using appropriate vocabulary and structures KA6_UO1
2. The student is able to analyse an argumentative or informative text on their own. KA6_UK5
3. The student can summarise a recoding they heard, identify the main information as well as the details contained in it. They are also able to select appropriate information. KA6_UK5
4. The student can take part in a discussion, take a stance with respect to its topic, express their own opinion and provide arguments supporting their point of view. KA6_UO1, KA6_WG1
Assessment criteria
There is a test after every two thematic units.
As regards absences, two unexcused absences are allowed.
Exceeding the limit of absences results in the final grade being lowered.
- a speaking test (based on the topics currently discussed in class (20 points)
- participation in the course (10 points)
The required minimum is set at 51%. The end-of-semester grade is based on the total number of points scored in all tests.
A student that did not take a test due to being ill should produce a note from a doctor and take the test during a meeting with a teacher (in person) within 2 weeks of the day the test took place.
