Practical French Learning2: Integrated Skills (Writing) 340-FA1-2PNFUP
The course familiarises students with the structure and principles of writing a report (compte rendu) of a written French text.
Students gain practice when it comes to the individual stages of analysing a text and writing a report.
Students write reports.
Students develop their skills in correctly using French structures in writing.
Students express their own opinions in writing related to the topic of the article.

Learning outcomes
1. The student correctly reads French sentences and texts varying in difficulty at the B2 level.
2. The student knows various text genres and their struture.
3. The student analyses various French and can convey their content through a written report (compte rendu).
4. The student can use complex grammatical and lexical structures in order to clearly communicate in writing.
5. The student understands the role of international communication in today’s world.
Assessment criteria
Written assignments are assessed on the basis of their form, content and language correctness.
The criteria for obtaining credit include:
- attendance (two unexcused absences are allowed);
- a passing average grade based on texts written in class;
- active participation in the course.
