Introduction to the theory of Language Acquisition 340-FP1-2TAJs
The lecture presents the sources of theories built on the basis of psychology (developmental and experimental psychology) from the second half of the 19th century. It presents the evolution of views on learning by representatives of the main psychological theories and informs about the impact of these theories on the most important concepts (methods) of teaching / learning foreign languages (from the 19th to the 21st c.). The lecture presents the most important theories and laws concerning the mechanisms of first-language acquisition and foreign language learning, taking into account the current significant contribution of psycholinguistics and neurobiological sciences (from associationism, through behaviorism, character psychology, neo-behaviorism, constructivist and cognitive theories).
The lecture is based on selected texts in Polish and French in the field of learning theory and acquisition / learning of first and foreign languages;
