Prerequisites (description)

Practical English Classes of 60 hours (1st year), 60 hours (2nd year) and 30 hours (3rd year) enable students to develop their English in the four basic skills: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking and writing.

Assessment criteria

Tasks focused on vocabulary and grammar, phonetic drills, language games, role playing, interviews, simulations, discussions and debates, written assignments and text analysis.
Observation and assessment of class activity, assessment of oral presentation, assessment of project work, student self-assessment, oral statement, written work, tests.
The pass mark based on individual performance. Missing two classes per semester is allowed.
The examination after the fifth semester.
