Practical German language training 2: integrated skills 340-LS1-2PNS
The aim of PNJN classes (from A2 level onward) is to improve linguistic competence in all skills and subsystems of the German language in order to achieve linguistic proficiency at the C1 level defined in the European Framework of Reference for Languages corresponding to this level (Polish edition of the CEF and Profile Deutsch). PNJN 180h classes (2nd year) are designed to enable students to acquire language competence in four basic skill areas: listening with understanding, reading with understanding, speaking and writing. An important role is played here, among others, in improving the ability to formulate free oral and written statements combined with the presentation of arguments while maintaining a clear structure of speech, active participation in discussion, interaction (so-called linguistic reaction), paraphrasing, expressing one's own views and defending them in discussion within the framework of the issues implemented in a given year of study. In the work of improving the skills of both oral and written expression, a key role is played by the students' mastery of the necessary vocabulary, grammatical, phonetic and orthographic knowledge. The range of difficulty of the materials and exercises is matched to the level appropriate for a given year of study.
