The student knows and understands:
KP6_WG4 - basic translational concepts and translation methods and strategies;
KP6_WG5 - methods of text analysis and interpretation in linguistics and translation studies;
The student is able to:
KP6_UW5 - with the use of appropriate methods of analysis, translation techniques and specialist consultations, is able to translate simple applied and specialist texts into the mother tongue and foreign language avoiding interference errors;
KP6_UO2 - use IT tools to collect and process information during the translation process;
KP6_UK2 - communicate using specialised terminology in linguistics and translation studies taking into account socio-cultural elements;
The student is ready to:
KP6_KK2 - recognise the importance of knowledge in solving cognitive and practical problems;.
