Teaching methods: The teaching process is carried out using the activating method (exercises). Due to the specific nature of the field and the fact that classes are conducted in Russian, methods related to teaching foreign languages play an important role in teaching, such as: the direct method, the communicative approach, the cognitive method, the grammar and translation method and other activating methods.

Assessment criteria
Forms of passing the subject and criteria:
- passing grade after both semesters: grades are based on grades for written work (essays, tests, dictations) and oral statements, taking into account systematic participation in classes (2 absences allowed) and activity during classes;
- exam in the summer semester, the condition for taking the exam is obtaining a pass in the exercises. The exam grade is based on the grades obtained in the written and oral parts.
A written form testing knowledge of the rules of Russian spelling and punctuation; grammar test - checking knowledge of the rules of Russian grammar (grammar exercises) and mastering vocabulary related to the subject of classes; stylistic work - grade given based on the assessment of the substantive content of the statement (knowledge about a given issue), the structure of the statement (logical structure of the statement, argumentation), the scope and level of the vocabulary used (richness of vocabulary, saturation with specialized vocabulary), grammatical and syntactic correctness; oral exam - grade given based on the assessment of the substantive content of the statement (knowledge about a given issue), the structure of the statement (logical structure of the statement, argumentation), the scope and level of the vocabulary used (richness of vocabulary, saturation with specialized vocabulary), grammatical and syntactic correctness, correctness pronunciation, accentuation and intonation correctness).
