Number of hours of teaching classes divided into classes: 120 hours per year (classes, oral and written examination after the fourth semester)
Teaching methods: activating (exercises). Due to the specific nature of the field and the fact that classes are conducted in Russian, methods related to teaching foreign languages play an important role in teaching, such as: the direct method, the communicative approach, the cognitive method, the grammar and translation method, as well as consultations and an examination.

Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria after the third and fourth semester. The grade is based on grades for written works (dictations, grammar tests, essays) and oral statements obtained during the semester, taking into account systematic and active participation in classes. Written and oral examination in the summer session after the fourth semester. Three-part written exam: dictation (testing the knowledge of the rules of Russian spelling and punctuation), grammar test (checking the knowledge of the rules of grammar), essay (checking: mastery of vocabulary related to the selected topic, substantive coherence of the statement (knowledge about a given issue), structure of the statement (logical structure of the statement, argumentation), scope and level of the vocabulary used (richness of vocabulary, saturation with specialized vocabulary), grammatical and syntactic correctness). Oral exam - grade given based on the assessment of the substantive content of the statement (knowledge about a given issue), the structure of the statement (logical structure of the statement, argumentation), the scope and level of the vocabulary used (richness of vocabulary, saturation of specialized vocabulary), grammatical and syntactic correctness, correct pronunciation, correctness of accentuation and intonation). The exam grade is based on the grades obtained in the written and oral parts. The student may take the exam after passing the course. To obtain a pass, a student must obtain a positive grade for all control work, homework and oral statements that apply during the semester. A student may have two unexcused absences per semester. The remaining absences must be counted during consultations. 30% absences from classes in a semester (20 hours) qualify for failing the course
