The course covers the following issues (as part of practical tasks):
1) various aspects of the work of an editor and proofreader
2) editing and proofreading of texts of various genres,
3) critical analysis of texts,
4) methods of working on the text (editing and proofreading),
5) genre and style determinants,
6) basic rules of composition,
7) independent formulation of texts.

KA7_KKO2 - the student is able to determine the priorities for the implementation of the task.
KA7_WK1 - the student has knowledge of the actual and potential relationships between various scientific disciplines within the field of humanities.
KA7_WK2 - the student knows the concepts of intellectual property and copyright protection and sees the need to manage intellectual property resources.
KA7_WGK2 - the student has knowledge of historical, functional, compositional and stylistic aspects of discourse in utility, scientific and artistic messages.
KA7_UWKOU2 - the student analyzes and contextually interprets the text (artistic and fuzzy), taking into account aspects: cultural, pragmatic, cognitive, axiological, compositional and stylistic, taking into account new achievements in the field of literary studies and linguistics.
KA7_KKO1 - the student understands the need for lifelong learning.
KA7_KOR1- the student is prepared to work in a group, aware of responsibility for the tasks undertaken in teamwork.
KA7_KOR2 - the student recognizes the need to act in accordance with the principles of research and editorial ethics.
Assessment criteria
Class attendance, active participation (participation in discussions), individual written assignments, team project.
