Initial requirements : knowledge of the basic issues of Polish grammar and Russian grammar.
Number of didactic hours for classes/seminars/lectures: 180 hours annually (laboratory + exam).
Teaching methods: exercises, consultations, examination.
ECTS points: 12.
Students' workload balance:
Participation in classes (laboratories): 180 h (7.2 ECTS)
Participation in consultations: 45 h (1.8 ECTS)
Preparation for classes: 50 h (2 ECTS)
Exam preparation: 25 (1 ECTS)
Total: 300 (12 ECTS).
Quantitative indicators:
- student workload related to classes requiring direct participation of the teacher - number of hours: 180 + 45 = 225, ECTS points: 9;
- student workload that does not require the teacher's direct participation - number of hours: 50+25=75, ECTS points: 3.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to teach the Russian language by practicing all language skills, i.e. speaking (including
mastering correct pronunciation), writing, listening comprehension, reading. As a result, the student is to be prepared to make decisions
various language tasks (translation, contacts with foreigners, watching TV, reading press and literature, etc.). Student,
who passed the subject:
1. Is able to prepare typical written works in Russian (summary, description, story, including translation in the form of
written) using the basic rules of spelling and grammar of the Russian language and newly learned vocabulary,
acquired during classes and based on other sources
(KP6_WG1, KP6_WG6, KP6_WG7, KP6_UW1, KP6_UW7).
2. Is able to prepare oral statements in Russian using the basic phonetic and grammatical rules of the language
Russian and newly learned vocabulary, mastered during classes and based on other sources (KP6_WG9, KP6_UW6, KP6_UK1,
KP6_UK2, KP6_UK4) .
3. He can use basic concepts of linguistics in Russian, which allows him to learn the principles
spelling and grammar as well as effective use of specialized sources (dictionaries, etc.) (KP6_WG4, KP6_WG5).
4. Is able to work and cooperate in a group during discussions and during the preparation of project work, taking on various roles in it
(so he can plan and organize both individual and team work) (KP6_UW6, KP6_UK4, KP6_UO1, KP6_KO4) .
5. Is able to perceive the Russian language comprehensively, being aware of its complexity and variability of meanings (KP6_WG1, KP6_WG9,
KP6_WK1, KP6_KO4, KP6_KO5).
6. Completes his/her own knowledge independently (KP6_WG2, KP6_WG5, KP6_UW2, KP6_UU1, KP6_KK1, KP6_KK2).
Assessment criteria
Eclectic method (communicative, cognitive, grammar-translation, audio-lingual method).
Semester grade issued on the basis of grades obtained by the student in the winter and summer semesters.
Exam - summer examination session. Admission to the exam is contingent upon receiving credit in the winter and summer semesters.
