The student who successfully passed the subject achieves the following effects:
- knows the basic concepts of lexicology, phraseology, lexicography - K_W01, K_W02, K_W13;
- searches the text for lexical units expressing different types of meaning - K_W04, K_W07, K_W08, K_W13; K_U01;
- finds and characterizes lexical units in terms of types of ambiguity, synonymy, antonymy - K_W04, K_W07, K_W08, K_W13; K_U01;
- can describe a semantic field and define the semantic relations between its elements - K_W04, K_W07, K_W08, K_W13; K_U01;
- finds and characterizes lexical units in terms of their origin, chronological and varietal differentiation - K_W04, K_W07, K_W08, K_W13; K_U01;
- finds and characterizes phraseological phrases - K_W04, K_W07, K_W08, K_W13; K_U01;
- can independently acquire knowledge and develop his skills in the field of the selected diploma specialization - K_U01, K_U03;
