Learning outcomes
Students who pass the course:
- are able to produce typical written work in English using the vocabulary and basic grammatical rules learnt in class and from other sources. KP6_WG1
- use basic linguistic terms in English (names of parts of speech, names of grammatical categories, etc.) KP6_WG4
- understand the problems and challenges of language and communication in English KP6_WK1
- prepare typical presentations in English using the vocabulary, phonetic and grammatical rules learnt in class and from other sources. KP6_UW1, KP6__UK1
- identify and solve problems, choosing appropriate methods and tools, including ICT KP6_UW6
- participate in a debate in English, presenting, evaluating and discussing different opinions and viewpoints KP6_UK4, KP6_KK1
- work and interact in a group, taking on different roles in discussions and in the preparation of project work. KP6_UO1
- are prepared to participate actively in activities aimed at creating platforms for tolerance and cooperation in multicultural communication. KP6_KO4
Assessment criteria
A grammar and vocabulary test after each chapter. The passing grade is determined by calculating the average of the total scores achieved.
