Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student:
- can describe the history of the SCS language as the oldest literary language of the Slavs KA6_WG11;
- can use the basic concepts of the history of the SCS language and formulate statements on historical and linguistic issues KA6_WG4, KA6_WG9;
- can analyze Church Slavonic texts as products of the writing culture of southern and eastern Slavs KA6_UW7;
- understands the mutual relations between particular groups of Slavic languages at the grammatical level KA6_UW1;
- can assess the importance of monuments of the SC language for the cultural heritage of the region and Europe KA6_KO3.
Assessment criteria
Teaching methods: teaching (elements of the lecture conducted with the use of presentations prepared in Power Point, explanation), practical (subject exercises), problematic (activation).
Condition for obtaining credit for the course: active participation in classes; correct performance of control works and text analysis after the end of the course.
One absence from the exercises is allowed; in the event of a greater number of absences, the student is required to pass the material carried out during these classes.
Number of hours of absence qualifying for failing the course: 10.
Final form of verification of learning outcomes: exam (analysis of phonetic and morphological phenomena of the SC language documented in selected texts of the canon).
Form of conducting lectures - remote (Eduportal platform).
