Assessment criteria
Credit after the third and fourth semesters. The evaluation is based on written assignments (dictations, grammar tests, essays, text translation) and speaking tasks during the semester, taking into account regular and active participation in classes. Written and oral examination in the winter session after the third semester. Written examination in three parts: dictation, grammar test and essay. The student may take the exam after obtaining a credit from classes. In order to get a credit, the student must receive a passing grade in all tests, homework and speaking tasks that are compulsory during the semester. A student may have three unexcused absences in a semester. All other absences should be made up during consultations. Upon reaching 30% of absences (27 hours), a student will receive no credit.
