Learning outcomes
KNOWLEDGE – the graduate:
- understands the nature of legal sciences, the place of civil procedure within legal sciences and its relations with other disciplines (KA7_WG1);
- has advanced knowledge of the principles and institutions of civil procedure (KA7_WG3);
- knows and understands the terminology of civil procedure (KA7_WK3);
- understands the place of civil procedure within the Polish legal system and its links with European Union and international law (KA7_WK4).
SKILLS – the graduate:
- is able to solve specific and complex practical problems in civil procedure (KA7_UO1);
- is able to draft basic pleadings and prepare analyses and interpretations of procedural problems (KA7_UW5);
- is able to prepare and deliver an oral presentation on civil procedure using independently sourced materials (KA7_UK1).
SOCIAL COMPETENCES – the graduate:
- correctly identifies and resolves professional dilemmas connected with the application of civil procedure (KA7_KR2).
Assessment criteria
Lecture: a two-stage final examination consisting of a written stage (test and case studies) and an oral stage (questions or problem tasks). A score of 51–100% in the written stage is required to proceed to the oral stage. The final grade is determined according to the following scale: 0–50% – 2; 51–60% – 3; 61–70% – 3.5; 71–80% – 4; 81–90% – 4.5; 91–100% – 5.
The use of AI systems during the examination is prohibited unless the instructions or the content of a task expressly specify the permitted use.
Depending on the applicable regulations, the examination may be conducted remotely.
