(in Polish) The course is intended for undergraduate and graduate students who wish to gain a basic understanding of the relationship between the brain, nervous system, cognition, emotion, and behavior. No advanced prior knowledge of neuropsychology or neuroscience is required, although basic familiarity with psychological terminology may be helpful. The course assumes active participation, openness to discussion, and willingness to engage in individual and group exercises. Students are encouraged to reflect on how biological processes influence human functioning, including attention, memory, language, executive functions, emotion regulation, decision-making, and behavior. The course also introduces students to selected neurological and neuropsychological disorders, methods of neuropsychological assessment, and ethical issues connected with research and clinical practice.
