The aim of the internship is to familiarize future teachers with the specifics of teaching in primary and secondary schools. Students learn about the practical implementation of teaching children and young people in classroom and lesson settings. The internship is conducted under the supervision of a physics teacher. Students become familiar with the work of the school's Pedagogical Council, library, and special interest groups. They become familiar with the role of the teacher during lessons and breaks between lessons. They observe classes in various subjects, including physics. After preparing a lesson plan with the supervisor's assistance, they independently conduct physics lessons. Students complete an internship journal detailing their stay and activities during the internship. The internship journal is signed by the school administration and assessed by the internship supervisor. The internship journal, along with the lesson plans, is delivered to the internship supervisor from the Faculty of Physics at the University of Białystok.

Learning outcomes
In terms of knowledge, the graduate knows and understands:
1. D.2/E.2.W1. teaching tasks carried out by a school or educational institution;
2. D.2/E.2.W2. the functioning and organization of teaching work in a school or educational institution;
3. D.2/E.2.W3. types of documentation of teaching activities conducted in a school or educational institution.
In terms of skills, the graduate is able to:
1. D.2/E.2.U1. draw conclusions from observations of a teacher's teaching work, their interactions with students, and the way teaching activities are planned and conducted; actively observe the methods and forms of work used by the teacher and the teaching aids used, as well as methods of assessing students and assigning and checking homework;
2. D.2/E.2.U2. plan and conduct a series of lessons or activities under the supervision of a professional internship supervisor;
3. D.2/E.2.U3. Analyze, with the assistance of the internship supervisor and academic teachers conducting classes in the field of psychological and pedagogical preparation, pedagogical situations and events observed or experienced during the internship. In terms of social competences, the graduate is ready to:
1. D.2/E.2.K1. Effectively collaborate with the internship supervisor and teachers to expand their teaching knowledge and develop their educational skills.

We use the following grading scale to assess learning outcomes:
very good 5 (100% - 91%)
good plus - 4.5 (90% - 81%)
good 4 - (80% - 71%)
satisfactory plus - 3.5 (70% - 61%)
satisfactory 3 - (60% - 51%)
unsatisfactory 2 (50% - 0%)
