Contemporary medical physics 390-FM2-2WFM
The first meeting is devoted to rules of preparing good presentations. The teacher presents its own good presentation which is the example to be reproduced by students. The access to the current literature via Web of Science is discussed. The schedule of presentations is prepared.
Students prepare presentations on the base of scientific papers found in scientific journals covering medicine, physics or medical physics. The students can choose paper themselves, but teacher has to accept it.
After presentation there is the discussion on the problems discovered in presentation.
Whole seminar, the presentations done by students and the following discussions are conducted in English.

Learning outcomes
1) Students build up their skills in the presentation technique in English
2) Students learn on the new problems in contemporary medical physics.
Assessment criteria
The final grade is the average of the grades for the presentations. In addition to the evaluation criteria for multimedia presentations included in the curriculum, consideration is given to maintaining the scheduled presentation time and the ability to conduct a post-presentation discussion.
