Learning outcomes
Knowledge, the graduate knows and understands:
detailed cultural studies and anthropology terminology in Polish and foreign language at B2+ level KA7_WG3
A student can:
1) form critical opinions about the products of culture based on the knowledge and one's own experience, attempt at discussing artistic and aesthetic values in Polish and in a foreign language at B2+ level KA7_UK3
2) prepare oral and multimedia presentations and conduct a debate in the Polish or foreign language with the use of different independently selected theoretical concepts and different sources KA7_UK5
3) appreciate the multicultural character of the region's, country's and European community and understand at an advanced level the different perception of social life and cultural phenomena by the people from different cultural environments and traditions, as well as communicate and cooperate with them KA7_UK4
Social competence, the graduate is ready to:
appreciate the multiculturalism of the community, region, country, Europe, understand at an extended level the different styles of social life and cultural phenomena by people from different cultural backgrounds and traditions and communicate with them KA7_KR1
Learning outcomes are verified through class discussions, written papers and a final oral presentation.
Assessment criteria
Students will be evaluated on the basis of activity in class, participation in discussions and joint exercises, homework, (60% of the grade) and a final oral presentation. (40% of the grade).
