Learning outcomes
After completing the language course, the student:
KP6_UK4 - uses a foreign language at the B2 level according to Common European Framework of Reference
KP6_WG1-knows and understands the definitions of the most important sociological terms, can identify specific problems undertaken by sociology
KP6_UK2- can prepare an oral statement on a given topic related to the studied issues with the use of sociological sources
KP6_UO2 - can prepare a multimedia presentation
KP6_UU1- can use various sources in writing. can recognize different types of sources, can use Internet sources
KP6_KR4- is aware of the complexity and multifacetedness of life and sensitive to the phenomenon of culturalrelativism
Assessment criteria
Students receive a grade after the fourth semester of study. The course ends with an exam.
The final grade is the average of the grades obtained during the winter and summer semesters for: tests, written assignments, homework, active participation in classes.
- credit for min. 51% of all vocabulary tests,
- writing a skill test,
- writing written works,
- active participation during workshops and group projects,
- regular participation in classes (two unexcused absences are allowed per semester)
In order to pass a final exam a student is required to obtain at least 51% of the exam points.
