Term 2025:
The aim of the classes is to expand the conceptual base and the ability to understand what contemporary terrorism is, and the threats it poses to international security. Thanks to the acquired knowledge, the student should be able to analyze information about contemporary terrorist threats and indicate their sources. They should distinguish between terrorist groups based on the nature of their activities and be able to identify the most important terrorist groups in Europe, Central and Eastern Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. They should differentiate threats arising from growing religious fundamentalism and tensions of an economic and social nature. |
