The course is meant to present the basic aspects of working in a think tank, as well as teach the students the basics of such work: gathering and analysing information, as well as drawing conclusion from it.

1.Acquiring basing knowledge on how a work in a think tank looks like;
2.Acquiring basic competence in the process of acquiring and analysing open-source intelligence;
3.Gaining basic skills in writing commentaries in a style and format typical to think tank tanks.
Assessment criteria
Each student will have to:
(1) Present a self-prepared review of information from one country, or one domain of human activity, in class
(2) Write a commentary in a style and format that is typical to think tanks
