A specialized subject in the third semester of M. A. studies in the area of: international relations, in the field of social sciences; no entry requirements, number of teaching hours: 30 hours in the form of exercises, workshop and discussion methods, case study analysis; ECTS points: 2, balance of student workload 50 hours (participation in classes, preparation of final papers, consultations, time to master readings and time to complete projects). The instructor provides for the possibility of additional consultations, apart from office hours, at the student's request. Due to the possibility of changes in legal conditions, the form of classes may change from time to time.
Class topics:
1. Introduction to international analytics: what is international analytics as part of political analysis, work (working with ideas, people, things, data), emergence from IR (6-8 areas)
2. Principles of international analytics (conditions): expertization of social life, globalization, media development, civil society
3. Objectives of international analytics: providing knowledge, informing the public, supporting decision-makers, commercialization
4. Institutions of international analysis: types of think tanks, intelligence and information institutions
5. Analytical products: analytical texts (macro-studies, meso-reports, mini-analyses, micro-notes), events (macro-congresses, meso-conferences, mini-conferences, panels, micro-interviews and presentations)
6. Analytical career development: journalistic, scientific, think-tank, intelligence path; problems
7. Areas of analytical work: politics, security, economy, society
8. Analyst's knowledge and skills: knowledge resources; inference; Tongue; access to data/source
9. Analyst's methods and tools: methods of political analysis, elements/cycle of analysis, qualitative research tools, media
10. Analytical process: elements (time, space, social structures and their relations, norms and ideas): Temporal/temporal analysis (history), Spatial analysis (economic geography, geopolitics), Structural analysis (social systems), Normative analysis ( law, philosophy, arguments)
11. Levels of analysis: examples from different levels of analysis - internal event, domestic event, international event, foreign event, global event (diagrams from work el.)
12. Analytical teams: permanent teams, problem teams, ad hoc teams, mixed teams, communication
13. Problems in analytical work: incomplete data, source deficiencies, workshop deficiencies, lack of access to the target group

Assessment criteria
Verification methods: assessment of knowledge of the subject literature through activity during classes, oral assessment and assessment of students' final papers and presentations.
Completion of classes based on students' activity and works presented during classes.
