This is a specialized subject in the third semester of M. A. studies in the field of: international relations, in the area of social sciences; no entry requirements, number of teaching hours 30 hours in the form of a lecture, delivery method and case study; ECTS points: 2, balance of student workload 50 hours (participation in classes, preparation of final papers, consultations, time to master readings and time to complete projects). The instructor provides for the possibility of additional consultations, apart from office hours, at the student's request. Due to the possibility of changes in legal conditions, the form of classes may change from time to time.

Prerequisites (description)

The subject concerns the market of expert organizations in the field of international relations, such as think tanks. The course discusses the types of these organizations and the methods of their work, as well as knowledge and analytical products produced in order to influence public opinion and the directions of foreign policy. The subject is independent, but the student is supported by his/her previous experience with knowledge in the field of international relations (this is knowledge popularized in many subjects, in the media, on information portals, in state institutions, etc.). Verification methods: assessment of knowledge of the subject literature through oral examination and assessment of students' final papers and presentations
