Prerequisites (description)

The course is meant to present elemtentary knowledge about the nature of working in a think tank, the type of tools used there, the methods of open source analysis , and the format and style in which think tank commentaries are written. The course will especially focus on developing the skills of the students (more than their knowledge).

KP7_WG2 - the graduate knows and understands the methodology of the humanities and social sciences and the prospects for the development of the science of international relations
KP7_UW2 - the graduate is able to critically analyze various phenomena at the international level, formulate research hypotheses and verify them, among others. based on sources obtained using advanced information and communication techniques
KP7_UK2 – the graduate is able to discuss using terminology related to the field of study

Assessment criteria

Verification methods: each student is to write a short paper in a style in format followed by think tanks
