• W1: The student knows the origins of poststructuralism.
• W2: The student understands the main assumptions and directions of development of poststructuralism in the context of contemporary continental philosophy.
• W3: The student knows and is able to characterize the most important representatives of the movement and their contributions to contemporary philosophy.
• W4: The student understands the basic concepts of poststructuralism.
• W5: The student understands the influence of poststructuralism on contemporary cultural theory, literary studies, psychoanalysis, and political theory.

• U1: The student is able to read, analyze, and interpret philosophical texts in the field of poststructuralism.
• U2: The student can compare different theoretical traditions and indicate their relationships with poststructuralism.
• U3: The student is able to use poststructuralist concepts to analyze contemporary cultural, social, and political phenomena.
• U4: The student can present arguments concerning selected theoretical problems in both written and oral form.

Forms of assessment: class discussion, preparation and presentation of introductory papers/presentations
Assessment criteria
Attendance and participation (50%) – Activity in discussions and preparation for classes will be assessed. Systematic attendance and engagement throughout the course are required.
Written or oral exam (50%) – Students will demonstrate knowledge of the material, key concepts, and poststructuralist theories through a written or oral exam.
