Learning outcomes
Knowledge. Student:
1) understands the construction of the field of complex numbers and knows the properties of operations on complex numbers in algebraic and trigonometric forms. KP6_WG1
2) knows the basic concepts related to determinants and their applications. KP6_WG1
3) knows the fundamental theorems concerning systems of linear equations and the concept of matrix rank. KP6_WG1
4) knows and understands the concepts of scalar, vector, and mixed products. KP6_WG1
5) knows the equations of a line and a plane. KP6_WG1
Skills. Student:
1) can perform operations on complex numbers in general and trigonometric forms and carry out simple reasoning involving complex numbers. KP6_UW1
2) can add and multiply matrices, find the inverse of a square matrix, and apply matrix methods to solve problems. KP6_UW1
3) can calculate the determinant of 3×3 and 4×4 square matrices. KP6_UW1
4) can solve systems of linear equations using Gaussian elimination and Cramer's rule. KP6_UW1
5) can compute scalar and mixed products and apply them to analyze the positions of vectors in three-dimensional space. KP6_UW1
6) can solve problems involving the relative positions of points, lines, and planes. KA6_UW1
7) uses mathematical logic to describe and verify facts and applies both inductive and deductive reasoning when solving problems in algebra and analytic geometry. KP6_UW4
Assessment criteria
General form of passing: exam.
