The aim of the seminar is to familiarize students with selected issues from the Christian spiritual life, with particular emphasis on spirituality in Orthodox Christianity, and to reflect on the state of the spiritual life of Christians living in today's modernized and secular society.

Graduate knowledge:
- knows the most important issues of spiritual life in Christianity - KA7_WG1 (P7S_WG)
- has in-depth knowledge about the changes that have occurred over the centuries in the spiritual life of Christians from the East and West - KA7_WK2 (P7S_WK)

Graduate skills:
- has the ability to indicate the stages of spiritual life in Christianity - KA7_UW1 (P7S_UW)
- is able to indicate and characterize the most important elements of spiritual life - KA7_UW4 (P7S_UW)

Graduate social competences:
- appreciates the multiculturalism of the community of the region, country, Europe, understands the different perception of social life and cultural phenomena by people from different backgrounds and cultural traditions at an advanced level - KA7_KR1 (P7S_KR)

Grading (grading scale in accordance with the Study Regulations)
The student receives credit for the seminar based on participation and activity in discussions on issues discussed during classes. Both the substantive level of the statement and the degree of involvement in the discussions (number of speeches) and the formulation of one's own opinions on the topics discussed will be taken into account.
One unexcused absence is allowed per semester; three unexcused absences constitute grounds for failing the subject
